Prize-Winning Performance with the Dallas Chamber Symphony
The First Prize winner of the DCS International piano competition wins a concert engagement, to be scheduled in the Autumn of 2014, to perform his or her winning concerto with the Dallas Chamber Symphony Orchestra at Dallas City Performance Hall. The First Prize winner agrees to be available for all orchestra rehearsals.

Masterclass & Private Lessons
The DCS International Piano Competition and SMU Meadows School of the Arts are committed to the development of talented young pianists, and offer important professional opportunities to all invited contestants.
Pianists may apply to participate in the Competition Only, the Masterclasses Only, or Both. Public masterclass and/or private lessons, are provided by the distinguished piano faculty of the SMU Meadows School of the Arts.
The 2014 masterclasses on solo repertoire will be given by Dr. Carol Leone (SMU Keyboard Department Chair) and Joaquin Achucarro. Masterclasses are free and open to the public. All competition participants are encouraged to attend.
Private lessons will be provided by members of the SMU piano faculty.
